Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy uses soft-tissue techniques as part of assessment and care for muscle-related discomfort and movement difficulties. An appointment may combine hands-on work with advice on movement, activity and individual exercises.

Comfort and consent

We discuss the proposed approach with you and adapt the pressure to your comfort. Please tell us if a technique feels uncomfortable; we can reduce the pressure, change the approach or stop. You do not need to tolerate a painful treatment.

An individual plan

We review your symptoms, medical history and movement before agreeing on a plan. The aim is to support your everyday function and activity. Your response is reviewed, and further treatment is discussed with you rather than assumed.
